Teresa's Wild Rice & Chicken Soup

5 2/3 cups water
1 package Uncle Bens long grain and wild rice mix
1 tablespoon chicken base paste
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 medium carrots, cut small
celery
1 cup chicken, cooked and cut into pieces

Put water, rice mix and chicken base together and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add vegetables. Cook for 15 minutes. Add chicken and soup. Let simmer another 10 minutes.
